Yesterday, Zeke met Truffles - the 13 week old English Bulldog. Truffles is a big supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and brought them good luck yesterday.
Some friends of our adopted a puppy named Leonard (Lenny) about a year ago, they live in the Upstate. This past weekend they were in Charleston for a visit. We shared dinner with Lenny's Mom and Dad and had a great time.
Lenny and I played very hard, he is a lot of fun. The picture of me with Lenny was taken by his Mom.
Zeke really goes crazy over his training bumper, he will fetch it all day long as long as water is involved. After we got done playing at the pond we went to McAlister's to get Dad some dinner, besides it was free tea day.
Last week Zeke went to the official announcement of free wifi available at Charleston's Waterfront Park, sponsored by Google. Some folks from the Google Map Maker team were there and Zeke got to check out the street view car along with the dude who does the images for Google Trekker!
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms of pups and kitties out there. Zeke got his mom a sweet card and a beautiful hanging basket of petunias. The above picture is mom's first attempt at a group picture - can't help but laugh at Zeke's look of disdain as his brother and sister can't keep it together long enough to take a photo. We ended up with a better group shot, but this one is still the winner.
As we have mentioned before, one of our favorite places to swim and fetch bumpers is in the Francis Marion National Forest. This is a picture from a couple weeks ago of Dad and Zeke getting ready to launch.
One of Zeke's favorite presents from his birthday was his toy moose that he received from his friend Sparky the Pug. Zeke enjoyed cuddling with Moose and shaking his brains loose. Unfortunately Moose met his end this week - being ripped apart in the name of tug. RIP Moose. :)
Zeke and Sadie took and Easter trip to Sky Dogs dog park in Ladson. Zeke's favorite part is the agility course items! (Hey Sky Dogs we are still holding out hope for that Dock Dogs pool!!)
Our spring weather has been really rainy. On particularly heavy rain day our backyard turned into a makeshift pond. Zeke made the best of it and played fetch with his bumper just like we had went to a swimming spot.
Ezekiel Choco-Taco Ayers, "Zeke" is a chocolate lab that has retired as greeter at Fox Music in Charleston SC. He loves swimming, frisbees, and blondes. Zeke invites you to check out his blog and say hi. zekethelab AT gmail DOT com
