Zeke had a GREAT birthday party!



Thanks to all in attendance for sharing in Zeke's birthday with him and thank you for the gifts.

We got the birthday cake and pup-cream and party favor bags all from The Good Dog Bakery if you are in the Charleston area you should definitely check them out.

Zeke weighed in at 83.2 lbs even after all his birthday cake.

Zeke and Mazyck

A couple days a week Zeke and Mom try to carpool with Dad. One of Dad's coworkers is in charge of the shuttle golf cart, but Zeke didn't have time for a ride this day. Maybe Glenn needs some extra trolley cars attached so he can carry more folks per trip.

lunch at the Dog & Duck

Today was refreshingly warmer (though not dryer) than the past week. So we loaded up for a hike and swim and capped it off with lunch at the Dog & Duck. The Dog & Duck is a super cool restaurant that is ultra dog friendly, this was Zeke and Sadie's first time there. Also the food is fairly wonderful.

sometimes I just wish the world was a little more dog-friendly

We heard about a cool event happening called "Snow Bowl" and thought that it would be great for Zeke to get to play in snow, but alas, NO DOGS ALLOWED. The website doesn't say this, so I had my hopes up and called to order some tickets and got shot down. Too bad for you Hanahan Recreation and Parks Dept. , you are missing out on a cool puppy.

In other news, Zeke did actually see his first snow flurry yesterday, but it was way to small for him to take notice. He also enjoyed some pizza crusts from an impromptu pizza party that occurred at work. Zeke loves him some pizza.

3 day weekends...

are great because Zeke's friends can come over and hangout.

Zeke at Work part 6

Today Zeke is filling in at work on a Saturday, that means hanging out with Zeke's friend Neil the piano salesman. Neil and Zeke work on a Sam Cooke tune.

Fridays at work

It is VERY VERY cold this morning. Zeke even seemed to be shaking some as we got in the truck to come to work. We stopped at St. Paul's on the way in, played some frisbee on the lawn and met up with Pam.

Back at the shop. Zeke is laying around on the job, again.

hook and ladder

Its rough being top dog at the Firehouse, but the subs are delicious. Spent the weekend watching football, swimming in the pond and a trip to the dog park this morning.

@ Riverfront Park

Often in the mornings, Zeke and mom will go to Riverfront Park. The Park was built on the old Navy base near senior officer housing. Its right on the Cooper River and has lots of nice places to walk and play. There is an area set up as a memorial to the sailors of the Charleston Navy Base.

Zeke gave some Christmas rawhides as presents this year and Sabian's mom and dad sends us this picture. Hope you enjoyed it Sabian!

Wild Card Weekend

Zeke and family have been getting up early to get our exercise in because there's a ton of great football for Zeke to watch. Unfortunately Zeke and his mom are 0-3 for their pics this weekend thus far. Below is the look of shock on Zeke's face when he realizes that yes, the Colts did actually lose that game. Below are a few pics from New Years Day, Zeke and Sadie's cousin stopped by to say 'hi' whilst we watched more bowl games.
